PRAIRIE CITY

APRIL 17TH AND 18TH 2010

The warm Sacramento, California sun shone brightly on the Prairie City OHV Park. Sam Berri was shining brightly on race day for the second round of short course racing for VORRA. The track was a bit different from last month’s course. A tight left-hand turn was added as well as a double jump on the back side hill.

Sam’s reliable 6 cylinder Acura desert car dominated the field of 4 Class One cars. Timmy Compton put up a valiant effort but in the end Sam prevailed, winning 1st place in Class One. The double jump in the course made Sam’s car soar to victory! A great race day was enjoyed for fans and racers alike. A celebratory pizza party was held at Mike’s Pizza in Angels Camp.
